How to join the Livestream meeting

You can still participate in the VCI Global Livestream!
We want every VCI school and director to be able to join us, even if your language is not one of the languages currently offered for live translation.
WHAT TIME IS THE LIVESTREAM FOR ME?
The livestream runs September 22, 2026, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM U.S. Central Time.
Not sure what that is where you are?
Search "8:30 AM Central Time to [your city]" on Google and it will show you your local start time.
OPTION 1: USE YOUTUBE'S AUTO-TRANSLATED CAPTIONS
This is often the easiest and most accurate option, since it reads the stream's own audio directly.

Open the livestream on YouTube.

Tap the settings (gear) icon on the video.

Select Captions, then Auto-translate.

Choose your language from the list.
Captions will appear on screen in your language as the speaker talks.
OPTION 2: USE GOOGLE TRANSLATE (OR MICROSOFT TRANSLATOR) ON YOUR PHONE
Watch the YouTube livestream on a computer, tablet, or television and use your phone for translation.

Open Google Translate (or Microsoft Translator, a good alternative if Google Translate is not available in your country) on your phone.

Select English as the language being spoken.

Select your language as the translation language.

Use the microphone or transcription feature.

Place your phone near the speaker so it can hear the livestream.
Automatic translation will not be perfect, especially with Biblical terms, but it may help you understand the main ideas.
Tip: Test this the day before the livestream, not the morning of, so you know it is working in your language before the event starts.
OPTION 3: WATCH WITH SOMEONE WHO SPEAKS ENGLISH
If possible, invite someone who understands English to watch the livestream with you.
They do not need to translate every word. Ask them to help you understand the main teaching points, important instructions, and announcements.
OPTION 4: PARTICIPATE AS A GROUP
If several students in your school speak the same language, consider watching together with one person who understands both English and your local language.
That person can pause occasionally to summarize the major points for the group.
NOTE: A recording of the livestream will be available after the event. If live translation is difficult during the broadcast, you can rewatch afterward at your own pace and pause to translate section by section.
